Why I walked a pilgrimage
Support before and after your journey, including encouragement, check-ins, and a place to reflect and integrate everything you experienced once you return home.
This retreat is intentionally limited to a small group of women, creating space for real connection, shared experiences, and the comfort of knowing you’re not doing this alone.
You’ll receive a walking training plan to help you build up your miles before we leave, along with a curated gear list so you know exactly what to pack and what to skip.
Every night we’ll come together for group dinners, whether cooking a meal in shared spaces or eating at local restaurants along the way.
*A handful of select meals are included in the cost
The route may call for a ferry crossing, a scenic boat ride, a group taxi or a short bus transfer between towns.
Thoughtfully chosen albergues (hostels), hotels, apartments, or homes. Rooms are sometimes shared but participants will always have their own bed. Each stay remains close to the Camino path.
Traveling on the Camino de Santiago, Portuguese Coastal, Central or Spiritual Variant Routes
Trips are 10 -14 days of walking
(recommend 3-4 extra days for air travel)
Walking an average of 11-15 miles per day
(takes 6-7 hours with cafe stops and breaks)
Backpack weighing 12-15lbs
(or wear a day pack and ship your bag ahead)
Each day we pack up our backpacks and enjoy a quick coffee or breakfast bite, then set out walking, winding through coastal and historic towns, forest paths, and long stretches of boardwalks along the sea. The pace is unhurried, giving space to think, to breathe, and to find your own rhythm.
Along the way, we linger at cafés, meet fellow travelers from around the world, and find moments of quiet, trust and confidence within ourselves.
After a full day on the trail, we reach our next town with time to rest, wander, or unwind before coming together for a meaningful dinner and conversation that prepares us for the next day’s walk.
Most women carry their pack, but you can choose to use a luggage transport service on certain days if needed.
A mix of hotels, apartments, homes, and private albergues, all very close to the Camino route. Rooms are shared, beds are not.
No. The Camino has spiritual history, but this retreat is open to any woman who feels called to slow down, walk, connect, and experience something meaningful.
Some days we walk together, some days you’ll have the opportunity to walk solo or with a friend, if you want to. We always meet at our destination for the night.
Retreat fees vary based on the route, time of year, and length of the trip. Payments are non-refundable. A payment plan is available if arranged in advance.
